Arslan's companion's name was Bankhar. He was one of the two most reserved dogs I met in Mongolia - you were only allowed to scratch him on the neck and the chest, otherwise he'd start growling. All the other dogs either ignored us or were very friendly and playful - probably because they were hoping that we'd give them food.
