This dog, living on the street in the aimag center Bayankhongor, reminds a bit of a Mongolian Mastiff, Khonch Nokhoi. This original Mongolian breed has been mixed up with all kinds of other dogs, not least German Shepherds, Central Asian Ovcharkas, Caucasian Ovcharkas, and many other breeds. The Mongolian shepherds obviously find it more important to have a good dog than a pure-bred dog.
